I know this was done awhile ago, but I just discovered the podcasts. I feel like I’m sitting in Bible Doctrines again. Mr. Overmiller, thank you for your balanced, biblical perspective on this topic. My husband and I have actually been discussing this recently. In a college class I was in, the teacher presented the idea of generational sin as something you couldn’t escape, something that was inevitable. I was unfamiliar with the whole concept, and it made me very uncomfortable since I was born as an illegitimate child. I hadn’t ever struggled with that type of sin, so the teacher’s comments left me feeling confused and almost guilty for my own origin. Thanks for the insight!

Thanks for sharing Rachel. Wow, Bible Doctrines class seems like so long ago. I trust you learned something of lasting value. If you or Chris would like to request a podcast topic, let me know. I’d be glad to give it some thought and could give you a shout out in an upcoming episode! God bless you two. And hello from Sarah.
