    Itai says:

A Man Is Focused – Class Notes
Entanglement – is when you lost control
Tangled – Immobilized, wrapped up, tied, not able to move forward
Don’t become involved to the degree that you can not do things for God
Affairs of this life – what we are in a battle with
affairs – job, family, shopping, money, emotions, finances, children
It is a war – there is a battle going on
Battle – intense, frightening, you could die
Focused – A man that would refused to be entangled by doing too many things
    Chose a side !
    In a battle, stay focused
If this world is all that there is, how can you say NO to some things
This is a temporary situation, but we can only see it by faith

The Approach : What is your motive ?
Is your motivation a matter of priority, or are you making a decision to please someone ?

The motivation : You want to please God
We need to make priority decisions
God has already chosen to die for sinners
The more you give into worldliness, the more it will pull you deeper to more entanglement

We need to be grateful to the choice of what Christ did
We should have a Focus of the “End Goal”, and the “Eternal Perspective”
He has chosen us to be a soldier
We are fighting to make the right choices
Some battles are for selfish reasons, and some battles are for spiritual decisions, or for argument points that have eternal reasons
We fight over kids. When you run after money, you loose your kids
We need to help others to battle their spiritual battles as well
You need to let go of some tasks, so that you can Focus more on God’s things and tasks
You need to realize you are in a battle
You can take radical steps sometimes, to make sure your battle moves forward

When you lose – what can you learn from it ?
When looking back, don’t regret that you had made the wrong decision
Turn the loss into an opportunity to win
You work on a strategy so that you learn from the mistakes and you can win next time

Can a man stay Focused ?
Can we Focus enough time ?
Can we Focus on the right things ?
Can we fight battles for one another ?
