Leadership
Written By Thomas Overmiller

Bible Verse: 1 Corinthians 9:23-27

Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.

  • Consider the Word - 1: How would you describe Paul's attitude as a man toward his Christian life and ministry?
  • Personalize the Word - 1: How would you describe your attitude? (Be honest.)
  • Consider the Word - 2: Paul says that he was fighting what primary opponent?
  • Personalize the Word - 2: In what ways does this same opponent fight against you?
  • Consider the Word - 3: What was the "crown" that Paul was fighting and determined to win (consider 1 Cor. 9:12-23)?
  • Personalize the Word - 3: Are you fighting and determined to win this crown as well?
  • Take Action: How can you become more determined to overcome personal obstacles in order to advance the gospel?
